Job Application Tracker — Pipeline, Stats & Follow-ups
Add each job you apply for and watch the pipeline do the bookkeeping: live totals, interview rate, follow-ups that are due, search and filters, CSV export and a printable report — your data never leaves this browser.
Quick answer
Track every job application in one private pipeline: statuses from wishlist to offer, live interview-rate stats, follow-up reminders, search and filters, CSV export and printable reports — stored only in your browser.
Job Finder built the Job Application Tracker as part of a complete, privacy-first application toolkit for job seekers in Nepal and beyond. Log every position you pursue, move it through a six-stage pipeline from wishlist to offer, and let the stats panel show your real interview rate — all computed and stored locally in the browser. The tool runs entirely on your device: applications are saved in your browser’s own storage, never uploaded, so it also works offline once the page has loaded. Below you will find the frequently asked questions, step-by-step usage notes and the related guides that help you win more of the applications you track.

Where is my application data stored — do you upload anything?
Everything is stored in your own browser’s localStorage on this device — never on a server, never in an account. That is also the limitation: clearing browser data or using another device starts a fresh tracker, so export the CSV regularly if you want a durable copy.
What do the six statuses mean and how should I use them?
Wishlist = a job you intend to apply for. Applied = the form is in. Interview = you were called for an interview or test (the stage also counts any offer that follows it). Offer = you received an offer. Rejected and Closed are the endings — rejected by the employer or withdrawn/closed by you. The pipeline bar and stats read exactly from these counts.
How is the interview rate calculated?
Interview rate = applications that reached Interview or Offer, divided by all decided applications (interviews plus offers plus rejections plus closed). It deliberately ignores Wishlist and straight-to-nothing silence, so the number answers the real question: of the employers that responded, how many called you in?
Can I export my tracker or print a report?
Yes. The CSV export downloads every visible application (it respects the active search and filters) as a file that opens directly in Excel or Google Sheets. The Print button opens a clean, self-contained pipeline report you can take to an interview-prep session. Both work fully offline.
Why use Job Application Tracker (Pipeline & Stats) on Job Finder?
100% private by design
Applications live in your browser’s local storage — no account, no server, no tracking. Export a CSV anytime for a durable backup.
Follow-ups that surface themselves
Set a follow-up date and the tracker highlights everything due today or overdue, so no application silently stalls.
CSV export & printable report
Respecting your active filters, the CSV opens directly in Excel or Google Sheets, and the print view produces a clean one-page pipeline report.
