How do I check if my CV will pass an ATS?

What is a good ATS resume score?
80 or above is strong — your CV parses cleanly and mirrors the vacancy well. 60-79 means the structure is fine but specific fixes will move you up, usually adding numbers to achievements or missing keywords. Below 60 the CV is fighting the parser: rebuild the sections and re-run the checker before you apply.
How does the keyword matching work?
The checker reads the job advertisement, extracts the most important repeated terms after removing common filler words, then checks how many of those terms appear in your CV text. Real recruiter software does the same first pass — matching the exact phrasing of the advertisement (for example 'annual work plan' not just 'planning') is what lifts your CV up the ranking.
Can applicant tracking software read my file format?
Most systems parse single-column PDFs and Word documents best. Tables, text boxes, headers/footers carrying key details, and graphics with embedded text can scramble your information — which is why the checker analyses your pasted plain text: if a section comes out jumbled when pasted, it will be jumbled for the parser too.
